How to apply

To apply for the BMEP fellowship program, you have to submit all required documents under the link below (MHH Homepage)

 

  1. The Application form on the MHH website (link below) 
  2. Cover letter in which you describe your motivation to apply for the BMEP
  3. Research outline (ca. 3-10 pages) in which you describe the motivation (including references), aims and research questions to be addressed during your stay abroad as well as the intended outcome (both from a research and a personal point-of-view); please argue why you chose this particular host institution
  4. Copies of relevant certificates ("Abitur", "Physikum", "B. Sc." or similar)
  5. Proof of English language skills at a minimum level of B2. The following certificates are accepted:TOEFL, DAAD Language Certificate, Cambridge English First (FCE), IELTS, PTE Academic as well as comparable alternatives)
  6. Comprehensive letter of recommendation  from local mentor as well as a comprehensive invitation letter from your mentor of the host institution
